computer design
Here are some designs I have created on the computer this past year. Though I would share some stuff I have worked on during my time here at OSU.
This was my final project for a class. I used illustrator to draw the designs and used Photoshop to create all the effects. The background is a picture I took at the Louvre on my trip to France. I overlaid it with a textured design to create the vintage look.
These are sweatshirts I designed for my midterm. We had to create a line of clothing. I went with hoodies and drew this hoodie flat on Illustrator. I wanted to do designs from nature so this one represented wind/air.
This sweatshirt is my favorite because its home for me.I love seattle so much, so I free handed the drawing on the back and scanned it into the computer to add it onto my design. This design is the representation of rain/water.
This last design I drew on the back as well. I love the look of trees with spindly limbs. I wish I was cool enough to pull of a tattoo with tree branches. The brown and tree represents earth/life.

Pretty Little Liars Style
So I started watching Pretty Little Liars again even though it drives me crazy how far off the books the story is. One of the reasons I love to watch it is for the girls' style. Aria Montgomery on this show has the coolest clothes and I wish I could pull off some of these looks. Just though I would share a few awesome outfits from the show. Enjoy!
LOVE the dress and wish I could learn to do my hair like that! I am challenged when it comes to updos.
Love everything about this. Pretty simple and could be easily mimicked, but still very classic.
The funkiest but coolest outfit! When I saw this on the show I thought the vest was so cool! Also, I love the slouchy hat and want to invest in one of my own.

Historical Corset
Here is my second corset complete. This one is much more traditional with hip gussets, breast cups, and a busk in the front that clasps together. I decided to use the green as my outer fabric because I wanted the boning to be visible and it would have been too busy on the floral print. I'm sad that this class is over but now I am working on my strapless dress! Last sewing class this summer. Let me know what you think!

First Corset Complete
Here's a collage of my final product and my sewing throughout the project. I am proud of how it turned out and I'm super happy with the colors I chose to use for my bias tape and ribbon. All the elements have tied in well together. Can't wait to start my next corset which is a historical pattern.

Corset Making
Cutting out the pattern
Boning casing sewn to lining pieces
Corset front pieces sewn together
Here are the beginning stages of the corset I am currently making during summer courses at OSU. When I am finished I will put up a final picture. I am super excited about this project and cannot wait to be able to wear it myself!
